The FlyPharma Conference US 2018 offered an exciting chance to see Miami International Airport (MIA) in action: delegates went behind the scenes with a site tour on Day 2 of the conference (13:20 on 12 September).

FlyPharma delegates were given an airside tour of MIA, and an exclusive visit to LATAM Cargo’s refrigerated pharma facilities including their specialized pharma coolers.

During the tour, delegates saw first-hand how MIA and its operators have equipped themselves to provide efficient and high-standard pharmaceutical handling processes for their customers. The tour has also given delegates a better understanding of the ‘end-to-end’ handling process of pharmaceutical products. This was a valuable opportunity to gain a VIP pass inside MIA’s pharma cargo facilities!
