As Global Head, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Thomas Grubb leads global time- and temperature-sensitive logistics services for American Airlines Cargo. A 27-year veteran of American’s Cargo division, Thomas previously served in Operations as Manager of Customer Service Strategy. In this role, he led the development of American’s active and passive cold chain services, ExpediteTC. During his tenure with American, he has implemented strategic sales initiatives as well as operational solutions for American’s product and services portfolios. Thomas is currently a member of the IATA Live Animals and Perishables Board (LAPB) and Time and Temperature Working Group (TTWG).

 

In addition to his current role in Cargo Strategy, Thomas has served in many other management roles within the Cargo division, including Operations, Global Accounts Sales, Capacity and Pricing Management, and Information Systems Development.
